Caleb is a no-nonsense Doctor, he is very smart and knowledgeable about most topics, but Medical things are his expertise; he has a fascination with Humans (because of being a Cybertronian).

History: Caleb was born right in the heart of Iacon City; the oldest of 9 Sparklings, but he wasn’t born a Human child he was born one of 9 Constructicon children. He grew up with the best education in Iacon City and then received a full scholarship to study to be a Medic in Iacon Academy.
Hook excelled in his Medic training in Iacon Academy graduating at the top of his class, he met Starscream not too long after he graduated, he still doesn’t know what drew him to the Seeker’s cause, but he indeed joined the Decepticons pretty much right out of The Academy.
His brothers Scrapper, Bonecrusher, Scavenger, Long Haul, Mixmaster, Dirt Boss, Rampage, and Overload joined him in the Decepticon army many times the 9 combining to form Devastator the largest of the Decepticons.
He met the other 2 Medics who had joined Starscream’s cause who were Bondmates named Breakdown and Knockout and he got along pretty well with them; it angered him though as members of the army started coming in beaten by Starscream himself learning that the young Seeker was trying to learn from them who his creators were.
He helped Soundwave when he could with caring for his 3 Sparklings, and he was pleased when he and Savage became Bondmates, he knew both Mech’s needed someone and the two seemed to complement each other perfectly.
One day he was passing the Rec Room and happened to catch Skywarp, Thundercracker, Skyfire, and Soundwave speaking about leaving the Decepticons going to the Autobots and he went and spoke to his brothers about leaving as well; the other 8 weren’t thrilled about joining the Autobots, but they agreed to leave the Decepticons.
Hook chose to meet with Flowerdancer as well joining the Autobots while his 8 brothers chose to go into hiding; he started working with Sorin and Ratchet; though he started to prefer working with Sorin, not really caring for Ratchet’s style of healing, but he helped Ratchet when he could.
He also grew to know Akadeanna and Flowerdancer Prime liking the female woman and the Seeker Prime; he was the one who recommended she sought out a Maquis Medic to receive a Spark Disguise to hide her Golden Spark; which he was glad that she did as he recommended; he is the only other Medic besides Sorin who knows that the young Prime has a Golden Spark.
He was angry when he learned when Akadeanna was 42 that she had been attacked and killed, but he stayed with the Autobots and followed them to Cybertron during the Fairy Prince’s 4th cycle, and he was relieved when he also learned from Soundwave that Flowerdancer and Skyfire were very much alive in Vos when Soundwave passed the news onto the Autobots.
He was there when Flowerdancer and Skyfire became Bondmates and when Optimus and Moonstar renewed their bond; and he wasn’t thrilled when they returned to Earth, but he returned with them.
He helped them settle into Miami Florida and was ready to protect the Humans and Earth from his former teammates the Decepticons, he still held a major hatred of them especially Megatron, though no one knows why and he won’t talk about it. He also still seeks out his brothers still hoping to convince them to join the Autobots, even if it is just to live among them as neutrals.
